BVNEMBA Prez Eammon Carleton SaysI've been spending so much time on the bike or swinging a shovel lately I haven't had much time to put down all that's been going on lately. To start with, our Wednesday night ride series seems to be gaining momentum and is as popular as I've ever seen it. We've taken away a lot of the rigid structure that used to guide the spots we ride and now turned control over to you which means you pick the rides you want to do. |

New format for Wednesday Night Ride SeriesThe popular Wednesday Night HUFF Ride Series has been changed for 2007. We've decided this year in order to reduce the commitment that people have to make in leading a regular ride every month that we're going to open up the Wednesday night rides to a full floating ride. Every week will be a different location hopefully suggested and lead by one of you. This is your chance to share that sweet piece of singletrack that helps you unwind after work. It doesn't take anything to lead a ride, just show up and ride your favorite trails, we'll follow along. It is suggested that rides be doable by all skill levels, helmets are always required and inclement weather may cancel a ride. Details will be posted on the BVNEMBA website, the main NEMBA website and through the BVNEMBA mailing list. If you would like to lead a ride, email Eammon Carleton with a location and directions a week or more in advance so we have time to get it published. For more information, go to the Rides Page. |
